Google Chrome will allow you to permanently stop sounds for disturbing websites

The next version of Google Chrome will provide users with a permanent remedy against websites that abuse commercials with sound

Called "Mute tab," the setting that allows temporary mute of disturbing websites turns into "Mute site" and will remain permanently checked, or until we decide that we have something interesting to listen to on that site. The measure comes after more and more sites have begun to abuse the autoplay feature by playing sound clips without asking permission from users

Chrome HD 64 also includes support for HDR movie playback available for PCs already updated with the Fall Creators Update of the Windows 10 operating system, and equipped with a HDR-compatible video card and monitor

Chrome 64 also provides native protection against Meltdown and Specter vulnerabilities, active for Windows and Mac systems
