Honor 10 is the next Huawei top smartphone, so it was inevitable to get some leaks about it. Today we have confirmation of the list of hardware components and two images that confirm the external design of the device. Many of the details were already known, but now we have concrete information, as TENAA has already listed the phone in its database in all the variants it will be available in.
Honor 10 will be a cheaper alternative to the new P20, so it was expected that the hardware platform will remain largely intact, with the only difference being the dual rear-screen system, which will be different from other Huawei models. Thus, we are dealing with a 5.84 "Full HD + (2.280 x 1.080 pixel) screen with a 19: 9 aspect ratio, a Kirin 970 processor, the same on Mate 10 and P20, four or six GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB options for internal storage. The 3,320 mAh battery seems to be generous for an average-sized smartphone.
Despite the fact that we deal with the same f / 1.5 aperture, the phone will not benefit from the same large-size sensors as P20 or Mate 10, but with modest variants with higher resolution in a 16 + 24 megapixels. The secondary camera is not for zoom, but has a monochrome sensor. It seems that AI features will also be used in Honor 10's camera application. On the software chapter, Honor 10 will be factory-equipped with Android 8.1, like P20, over which will run the EMUI 8.1 proprietary interface
Outside, the phone seems to be entirely made of glass, with a multicolored back, similar to the P20 and P20 Pro with purple and blue shades. Of course, simpler versions will also be available. On the front, the only picture describes it with a cut in the display, although other leaks in the past suggested that it would benefit from a "full" screen. This detail remains a mystery until April 19, when the phone will be unveiled at an official event in China.
The European launch of the phone is expected on May 15.
