A new device from the ZenFone 5 line seems to have surfaced, this time with some sketches with it, along with a listing on Geekbench that reveals some details about its internal hardware. This model has the model number "X00PD", different from the ZenFone 5 Max that we saw last week on the WiFi Alliance website, called "X00QD". It seems that this model will also be positioned on the bottom of the series, being equipped with more modest hardware
ZenFone 5 X00PD seems to be another ASUS mobile device equipped with an 18: 9 display, which has a diagonal of 5.7 ". It will be joined by a modest Snapdragon 430 chipset, the smallest of the Qualcomm range, and the phone will be delivered with pre-installed Android 8.0. Unfortunately, here is the internal hardware information.
We can see in the pictures the exterior, which seems to be made of glass and aluminum. On the front we can see the lack of capacitive buttons, something ASUS has used on most of the devices in the past, but at the top we can see what appears to be a dual-camera front camera. A dual-camera system is also found on the back of the device, similar in design to that of the iPhone X, which is joined to a center-mounted fingerprint sensor
Something that the iPhone X does not have, and this modest ZenFone 5 model will have is an audio jack, positioned at the top. But at the bottom there is a micro-USB port, not a Type-C port, as we would expect.
Considering the number of rumors and the amount of information leaked about the new ASUS ZenFone 5 devices, the Taiwanese company will most likely present to the MWC 2018 the entire series, which seems to include both mid-range and premium models that everyone is waiting for
