All manufacturers who no longer have a 3.5 mm jack should include an adapter
Sony has joined the growing group of producers who have opted out of the universal audio jack on new smartphone models. Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact no longer include this feature, but Sony has provided a useful accessory. This is a USB Type-C USB port that has two outputs: one for audio jack and one for USB-C.
Called the EC270 USB Type-C 2-in-1 Cable, Sony allows users to charge their phone and listen to music on their wired headphones at the same time.
Unfortunately, the company does not include the new device in the box. It costs about $ 30. However, Sony has announced that it will offer a premium premium wireless headset to Romanian customers who will pre-order the phone as of March 23rd.
Such adapters should be offered free of charge by all manufacturers that no longer include the audio jack.
