Allview officially enters Android Go with the release of the A9 Plus smartphone


Allview announced the first smartphone in its portfolio running an Android Go operating system, in this case 8.0 Oreo. The phone has a price of 370 lei on the company's website and is available in black and gold.

Android Go was designed for low-end smartphones (1 GB or less RAM, 8-16 GB internal storage and entry-level chipset) and includes a range of Go applications. These include: YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, or Gmail Go.

The Allview A9 Plus features a screen size of 5.34 inches (480 x 960 pixels), quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage (plus slot for microSD card), 8 MP main camera and 2.500 mAh battery. The smartphone includes a fingerprint reader, but not 4G connectivity.
