Apple Music has 38 million subscribers

Recently the Wall Street Journal confirmed that Apple Music has 36 million subscribers on February 4. Now, Apple’s Eddy Cue happily announces that in March the Za 38 million subscribers were reached.

Apple Music is growing rapidly

If you look at the growth, Apple added 400,000 new subscribers to the customer base each week, or 1.6 million per month (4 weeks). This is the largest growth rate since the launch of the service in June 2015. At least based on figures publically published by Apple.

Spotify continues ahead of Apple

As of now, however, Spotify, the biggest competitor on the market, still has a big head start. At the end of 2017, the company said it owns more than 71 million paying subscribers. Along with its free promotional offer, Spotify has over 159 million users.
