Apple Park now officially new headquarters
Last year, Apple already presented the iPhone X in the Steve Jobs Theater near the "Apple Park" main building and in the Verg On a pleasant week, the first shareholders' meeting was held in the same theater. Until shortly before his death in 2011, the then Apple CEO Steve Jobs worked hard on his biggest project. Called "Campus 2" at the time, he presented his plans for Apple's new corporate headquarters in a city council meeting to get the green light. Some time later, the construction of the "spaceship" began, which was completed only a few years later. Last year, Apple officially announced that the new campus will be called "Apple Park" and will be sourced in the coming months by around 12,000 local employees. To honor the Apple co-founder and initiator of the project, the new auditorium was named "Steve Jobs Theater". Although 1 Apple Park Way is now the company's official address, the moves are still in full swing. Last month, it was revealed that only about five of the twelve areas of the main building are currently open to employees. The remaining seven should follow in the next few months.
