ASUS launches new 32 "4K UHD monitor for photo editing
The ASUS ProArt PA32UC features a 32 "UHD 4K 32-inch IPS screen and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity for professional video editing professionals
The ProArt PA32UC has Ultra HD Premium certification and can achieve a brightness of up to 1,000cd / m2 for an optimal viewing experience of HDR content. At the same time, the screen provides a 99.5% coverage of the Adobe RGB color palette, 85% Rec. 2020, over 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB
The monitor has a 14-bit LUT (Lookup Table) accuracy that allows it to display more than 1.07 billion colors. Also, Gamma values of 2.6, 2.4, 2.2, 2.0 and 1.8 are supported for more homogeneous transitions between the shades of images.
The ProArt PA32UC incorporates advanced color calibration settings and provides a high degree of shade accuracy. Users will have images closer to reality and more colorful. Thus, the monitor is recommended as a suitable tool for graphic designers, photographers and content makers who need high color accuracy
Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 3 ports for data transfer up to 40 Gbps, a DisplayPort port and a USB 3.1 port with Power Delivery that can power external devices up to 60W. In addition, users can connect two UHD 4K monitors in one port without needing a hub or switch
Users can choose from a wide range of settings to get color accuracy; they can use 3x3 and 5x5 color uniformity matrices to ensure consistency and brightness; they can also save color profiles in profiles in the integrated monitor processor. ASUS ProArt is compatible with major colorimeters like the i1 Display Pro and the Datacolor Spyder 5.
