Last year’s verö Public Cultured Code with Things 3 is the next big version of their task management app. Since then, the developers are constantly improving the app and bringing in many new features. Now Things 3.6 has appeared and gives iPad users more control over the tasks. According to the developers, the goal of the update was to raise the iPad app to the desktop level. This is mainly due to the support of external keyboards, which can make much easier with shortcuts. These include shortcuts such as selecting, moving to a list, setting a due date, and much more.
According to the developers version 3.6 should not only introduce new keyboard shortcuts, but also other minor changes were made or adopted from the Mac version for the iPad. The best example of this is “Type Travel”. The feature allows you to navigate quickly and easily through the app. Just type in where you want to go and the corresponding task or project will be opened.
In addition, it is finally possible to move tasks in the Things sidebar via drag & drop, as well as tags and deadlines for several tasks at the same time. In addition, the new version allows you to duplicate multiple to-dos with just a few taps.
