After yesterday’s releases of iOS 11.4 developer betas and tvOS 11.4, the public betas for iPhone and iPad operating systems and Apple TV are now released

As expected, AirPlay 2 and stereo support for the HomePod will be included in iOS 11.4, after Apple removed both features that were supposed to be released with iOS 11.3 back out of the last beta , The reasons for this short-term shift are unknown – presumably the developers just needed more time than the marketing department wanted to grant them – because iOS 11.3 should probably be released in March.

iOS 11.4 Beta 1 is said to include the HomePod stereo support, but it can test the lack of new public beta of the operating system of the Homepod speakers currently not. In this country there is not the HomePod anyway – whereby some resourceful users have brought the devices from England. AirPlay 2 requires an Apple TV 4 or Apple TV 4K with the beta of tvOS 11.4.

While Apple’s developer program requires paid membership, Apple’s public beta program is free to subscribers. Participants in the free Apple Seed program can now download iOS 1143 over-the-air beta 1 as long as the appropriate configuration profile has been installed on the iOS device.
