Hardware Short Tests: Sonoro Meisterstück, Brother HL-2340DW, Kenu Airframe Pro and more
Music System : Those who dub their product as a "masterpiece" must have a high degree of confidence in their abilities. Is Sonoro rightly proud?
Quality is conveyed by the new flagship from the Sonor house in Sonor near the delivery: The simply "masterpiece" baptized audio complete system weighs almost ten thousand kilos. These are due not least to the excellent workmanship: The cuboid wooden housing is covered with fine piano lacquer, which guarantees the Meisterstück a truly brilliant finish. Place in the about half a meter wide piece of jewelry each two 0.75-inch high and 3-inch midrange and a 5.25-inch subwoofer, the five individual power amplifiers with two times 10 and 30 watts and once 60 watts RMS are driven. Sonically, so much audiophile muscle power flows into an event that would do credit to a concert hall: the basses are powerful but precise, with mids and highs present, but never intrusive.
In addition to conventional FM and DAB + signals is the masterpiece on internet radio and Spotify Connect. In multi-room operation, up to five devices can be combined in one network. Ironically, here's a big minus point: Apple's AirPlay format is left out. tr
Rating to the Sonor Meisterstück

Pro: masterly sound, highest quality of workmanship, variety of formats, standardized iPhone app
Contra: no AirPlay
Conclusion: Best sound from noble components - unfortunately with AirPlay gap
Printer : A printer is still in every home and office. Brother's HL-2340DW model proves to be a workhorse.
Homework, Invoices, Tickets, Forms: Something always has to be printed. As a laser printer, the HL-2340DW is ready for this at all times, a drying of about ink, you do not have to worry. The printer is connected via USB cable or you can connect the device to the WLAN. The setup is done quickly, the small display on the device leads through this process with clear instructions. When the print job is started, the first page is held in the hand after about 10 seconds, extensive print jobs are processed at around 30 pages per minute. If one chooses the higher quality settings in the driver, the printouts can satisfy also more demanding demands on the printed result. Add to that the exemplary compatibility with AirPrint, print jobs started on iPhone and iPad are executed perfectly. The 250-sheet capacity paper cassette, cut-sheet feeder and duplex printing are also positive. The printing costs are low and range around 3 cents per page. Toner and spare drum are moderately priced. sm
Rating of the Brother HL-2340DW
Price: 140 Euro
Pros: inexpensive, fast, economical, duplex printing, WLAN & USB
Contra: problematic in some WLANs
Conclusion: Reliable monolaser printer for home and office.
Kenu Airframe Pro
iPhone Holder : Handling iPhone while on the move is not only stupid and dangerous, but can also be really expensive. With the Airframe Pro can be retrofitted even in older vehicles, an iPhone holder for a low price. The attachment of the bracket works just as simple as ingenious, it is simply clamped between the slats of the ventilation. The iPhone can then be attached with a simple clamping mechanism. Thanks to a ball joint you can adjust its alignment. sm
Rating to the Kenu Airframe Pro
Price: 30 Euro
Pro: easy to install, ball joint, stable grip
Contra: unsafe vertical support of heavier iPhone models
Conclusion: Clever Car Mounting Solution
iPad-Folie : The adhesive paperlike paper would like to make the iPad a better device for working with the Apple Pencil. The surface of the film is slightly roughened so that writing and drawing on it should feel like on real paper. Once you have applied the foil, the disillusion is great: not only does it make the display dull, it also creates an unpleasant "color noise" over the entire surface. But after all, writing it is really a bit more pleasant than directly on glass. ssc

Nokia Steel HR
Fitness Watch : With its hybrid watch, Withings already knew how to inspire in 2016, but processing problems spoiled the joy. Nokia has now repaired its successor under its own flag: the watch glass no longer fogs on the analogue smartwatch designed for sports, and it is now made of shatter-proof sapphire crystal. The body is also completely made of stainless steel. And the heart rate monitor delivers more accurate results. Special mention deserves the iPhone app, which is in no way inferior to Apple's health. tr

Pro: Battery life up to 3 weeks, data integration into the Apple Health app, simple design
Note : 1,0

Urbanist New York
Bluetooth Headset : Thunder weather, New York's Urbanista can do one thing above all else: loud! No headphones in our tests could ignite a similar sound force so far. The second preference: the bass! That's really huge in the Scandinavian design over-ear. This may be just the right core competence for such music genres as hip-hop, but other styles suffer from the lack of details in the heights. Exemplary: The battery life is with noise-canceling 16, without noise reduction 25 hours. tr
Rating to the Urbanista New York
Price: 150 Euro
Pro: Bass, Battery Life, Comfort
Contra: Somewhat unbalanced sound
Conclusion: Comfortable over-ear for friends of music genres with Wumms.
