The HTC U12 +, the world's newest smartphone range, has been officially launched. The terminal comes with a high-performance camera, enhanced Edge Sense function and an 18: 9 display.
Fortunately, HTC has not "endowed" the smartphone with a cut-off screen at the top. The 6 inch (2,880 x 1,440 pixel) Super LCD display on the HTC U12 + has 18: 9 image format and supports HDR 10. The company claims it can be used more easily with one hand thanks to the Edge Sense 2 function. It now adapts to what hand the user uses. "With double touch with one hand, you can surf the phone, hold it tight to keep the screen orientation, or grip the edges to take pictures and videos, zoom on maps or any other interaction you want," according to a press release of the company.
Like the HTC U11 +, in the Translucent Blue version, the new smartphone has a transparent rear that can see some internal components. Physical buttons are pressure sensitive.
Like most recently announced Android range puzzles, the HTC U12 + includes the Snapdragon 845 chipset. It is powered by 6 GB of RAM. Internal storage capacity is 64 GB, but the terminal also has a micro-SD card slot. The battery pack has a capacity of 3,500 mAh and benefits from fast charging with the included Quick Charger 3.0 charger.
HTC's new peak has a weight of 188 grams and is dust and water resistant (IP68 certified). The fingerprint reader is positioned on the back.
The phone will be available from the beginning of July in the colors Translucent Blue, Ceramic Black and Flame Red
