Even if the utility of configurations with more than 4GB of RAM is at least questionable, in the quest for specifications that draw the attention of potential buyers, smart phone manufacturers have gone through the 6GB RAM fast and are already launching 8GB of RAM.
At this level, it is easier to find 8GB RAM shortcomings than practical scenarios to tap their potential. More expensive, mobile devices equipped with too much RAM tend to have battery problems as well. Ironically, the solution found by smartphone makers has been optimizing the Android version in the sense of forcefully stopping applications running in the background. The consequence is the release of RAM, which is no longer used to the full potential. It remains to be seen whether these shortcomings will be found in the new Huawei product
Except for the increased amount of RAM, the Honor 10 GT is virtually identical to the standard Honor 10. The configuration is made around the Kirin 970 chipset, the most powerful in the Huawei portfolio. Internal storage capacity is 64 GB or 128 GB. Honor 10 does not have a microSD card slot
The phone runs EMUI 8.1, the proprietary Huawei interface, based on Android 8.1
On the rear, Honor 10 GT has a dual camera: 16 MP (f / 1.8) color sensor + 24 MP monochrome. The Selfie Camera has a 24 MP (f / 2.0) sensor and has a portrait mode.
The main camera is capable of shooting at 4K quality, and the front one at the highest quality of 1,080p
Honor 10 GT includes a 3.400 mAh battery with fast charging technology. The phone is dual-SIM and will be available in the colors: Mirage Purple, Mirage Blue and Black and Gray
Considering that the Honor 10 standard edition with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space is available for $ 340, the 8GB RAM option should have a slightly higher price than this.
