Huawei prepares Honor 7A, a new affordable smartphone

Inspired by the Honor 7 launched two years ago, the Honor 7A comes with a higher screen and facial recognition function.

Waiting for release on March 30 and priced at less than $ 250, Honor 7A features a 5.7 "screen with a 1440x720 pixel resolution and a Snapdragon 430 chipset-powered configuration.

The 18: 9 aspect ratio screen dominates the front of the casing, but we can not talk about a frameless design, with the white stripes left wide enough. All in front we find an 8MP photo camera, and in the back we have a 13MP + 2MP camera without much claims

Honor 7A also has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and microSD expansion slot

Staying behind to the innovation, Honor 7A keeps the micro USB connector for power and file transfers, and the 3.5mm jack headphone output

The 3000 mAh battery should not cause problems in terms of autonomy, but the lack of QuickCharge technology takes the charging time to at least 3 hours. On the list of useful but absent endowments in the present case, the fingerprint reader also comes in, whose role is however substituted by the facial recognition function

But we have stereo speakers made by converting the audio headphone into a secondary speaker when we do not make voice calls

Delivered with Android 8.0 and the EMUI 8.0, Honor 7A will be launched in the Asian markets for the first time, but it could reach other regions in the coming weeks.
