Huawei will launch Nova 3, a Kirin 970 chipset powered by smartphones and equipped with 4 photo cameras
Huawei continues to diversify its smartphone offer with a new Nova product range. The latest addition, the Nova 3 high-end model will be unveiled for the Asian markets on July 18.
Adapted for the year 2018, Huawei Nova 3 takes over the features of the P20 range, trying to convince it with a balanced package of equipment and a better price. From the list of specifications we find out that the new smartphone comes with a 6.3 "FullView screen, supporting Full HD + resolution (2340x1080 pixels). Powerful enough for intense use, Nova 3 features a 6GB RAM and Kirin 970 chipset. It features an octa-core processor consisting of a high-performance 4-core Cortex-A73 to 2.4GHz core cluster and a 4-core Cortex- A53 to 1.8GHz, optimized for efficient battery use of 3750 mAh. The phone also features 128GB internal memory and Huawei's exclusive Super Charge technology
Photo enthusiasts are spoiled with a powerful dual camera system, identical to the one used with the Honor 10: 16MP RGB sensor and f / 1.8 lenses, coupled with a 24MP monochrome sensor to get clearer images
Optimized for portrait pictures, the front camera receives a 24MP optical sensor, assisted with a 2MP responsible bokeh effect
With dimensions of 157 x 73.7 x 7.3 mm and a weight of 166 grams, Huawei Nova 3 is slightly larger and heavier than the P20 range.
Designed for Asian markets, Huawei Nova 3 comes with Android 8.1, customized using the EMIUI interface. Huawei does not provide any further information on the availability of this model in European markets, or the possibility of launching an Android One edition with unchanged version of Android
