Ikea is primarily a furniture maker, but in the past few years she has also been involved in technology by launching LED light bulbs and wireless chargers that are poised for the other products in her portfolio. Now, the company proposes two models of home speakers, one of which can be used on the go. These are called Eneby Speaker and come at affordable prices. Obviously, the minimalist design ensures a harmonious integration in any Ikea-furnished house.
The Eneby speakers are parallelepiped shaped and come in two sizes. The small one has 8 "sides and 3" thick, while the big box has sides of 12 "and 4" thick. They are equipped with speakers that are hidden behind a removable protective cover and come in black or white color options. The construction is made of plastic, the small model being equipped with a metal handle, for the moments when the box is taken away.
In fact, both models are designed to connect to the outlet, but there is a separate battery, sold as an accessory for the small Eneby Speaker, which can power it for moments when it is used in the garden or picnic. The large model is dedicated to indoor use.
Prices for the new Eneby speakers are $ 49 for the small version and $ 89 for the big deal. The portable battery pack costs $ 20, while a vertical speaker stand costs $ 10. They are not yet part of Ikea Romania's offer but will certainly be launched in the near future. Curiously, Ikea comes with Bluetooth speakers now that all companies are launching smart Wi-Fi solutions and integration with virtual assistants such as Google Assistant or Alexa
