LEAGOO S9 could be the first Android smartphone with "bangs" cut around the screen
One of the most criticized features on the iPhone X, the top-of-the-top screen could also be picked up and Android-based phones
Promising a "fresh and futuristic" look, Asian manufacturer LEAGOO prepares to copy the most distinctive yet controversial feature of the iPhone X. Paradoxically, the new smartphone will be called the Leagoo S9 and will rival the product with the same name delivered by Samsung.
Taking into account that most iOS apps needed updates to display on iPhone X phones, it remains to be seen how to accommodate the new screen app screen interface
Preliminary list of specifications mentions the Helio P25 chipset, a top model of the MediaTek manufacturer, equipped with a 2.5GHz octa-core processor and helped with 6GB of RAM. The configuration is completed with 64GB internal memory, microSD slot and a 4000mAh battery. The curved-edge screen supports the resolution of 2160x1080 pixels.
From the few available information we find that the LEAGOO S9 will be delivered directly with the Android 8.1 version, which could give it an edge over other "clones" of the Galaxy S9 / iPhone X. The LEAGOO S9 will be officially launched at the MWC 2018, organized in the second half of February in Barcelona.
