LG G7, launched after rival Galaxy S9. Availability in stores, insured one month later
After the latest rumors launched the launch of the Galaxy S9 right at the opening of the MWC 2018, scheduled to start on February 26, LG decided to totally avoid the hustle and bustle of these events, keeping the launch of the G7 for later
Unlike previous years, LG will not try to capture public attention by revealing the new smartphone peak ahead of Samsung's rival. Instead, the company chose to use the time lapse to implement a truly top-of-the-line configuration, and it is well known that the predecessor G6 was heavily disadvantaged by the outdated specifications, suited to the second half of 2016, of 2017.
Compensing for a longer wait, the LG G7 will come equipped with the same Snapdragon 845 chipset as the Galaxy S9, complete with support for Quick Charge 4.0 technology. Instead of the LCD screen, the LG G7 will come equipped with a full-vision OLED display, dominating the front of the carcass. The list of facilities could also include an iris scan function and other fashionable features such as a biometric screen sensor and advanced facial recognition function
According to information confirmed by several sources close to the company, the LG G7 will be unveiled at a press event scheduled for early March, with availability in stores being guaranteed from April 20, 2018.
