The IT & C Distributor MGT Educational has announced its partnership with NAVITEL and will distribute the entire product catalog of the company in Romania. These include navigational devices, DVRs, mobile software, tablets and hybrid devices that will receive full support, including repair and phone support via a local partner

The products on which NAVITEL will focus in Romania are the GPS navigation device E700, the intelligent mirror MR250, the R600 dashboard, the T700 3G tablet and the RE900 hybrid device among other products in these categories

The NAVITEL E700 is the hotspot for the offline GPS product range. It is equipped with a 7 "display, 800 MHz Cortex-A7 processor, Microsoft Windows CE operating system and a microSD slot that can accommodate cards up to 32 GB. Maps are updated four times a year for free and already have over 5,000,000 points of interest. Updating maps is free of charge.

The intelligent rear-view mirror MR250 is part of the DVR category in the NAVITEL portfolio and is equipped with two cameras, one on the back, which shoots in front of the car and one for the rear. An IPS 5 "diagonal display is integrated on the mirror surface where the recorded contents of the cameras can be displayed. The front camera has a viewing angle of 160 degrees, while the rear camera has an angle of 85 degrees. They both shoot in Full HD resolution at 30 frames per second in MOV format. The device is equipped with a motion sensor that works even when the machine is turned off, which activates the recording when an accident occurs.

A standard, non-mirrored dashboard is the R600, equipped with a Sony Exmor R sensor. It features a 170 degree viewing lens and captures full-resolution Full HD resolution. And this model is equipped with a motion sensor, but also with a microSD slot that holds cards up to 256 GB

The hybrid model of GPS and video camera is called the RE900 and integrates many capabilities that we would be used to find on a tablet. In fact, this is basically a tablet, equipped with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.4.2. The RE900 offers 16 GB of internal storage space and the ability to add up to 64GB microSD cards and filming in Full HD at a 140-degree angle. Among the special capabilities of this device we can list a 3G, Wi-Fi, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 module. For offline navigation there are pre-installed maps for 43 countries.

Last but not least, NAVITEL is also launching an Android tablet in Romania. This is called the T700 3G and is clearly navigationally oriented. The tablet is equipped with a 7 "IPS display and dual SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. At the hardware level, we're dealing with a basic tablet with a 1.3 GHz processor, 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 2,800 mAh battery, and 16 GB of internal storage space. There is support for the microSD card, and on the internal memory there are maps for 47 countries that offer both navigation for residential and industrial infrastructure. Last but not least, the software includes road traffic information such as traffic direction, intersections, and other relevant information
