New update: watchOS 5 Beta 1 made Apple Watches unusable
The first version of the first watchOS 5 Beta was withdrawn by Apple shortly after its release, as the beta has some Apple Wa 2 series had made unusable. Specialists call that something bricking. This new beta fixes this issue and makes the watchOS 5 update available to developers again.
watchOS 5 is a comparatively large update for watchOS that introduces activity contests so you can join training sessions with friends. Add to that the walkie-talkie feature with push-to-talk functionality for quick communication with the people you talk to most, and automatic workout recognition to make starting and stopping workouts easier than ever making.
Other new features include an improved Siri dial with support for third-party applications, a special Apple podcasts application, new workout types like yoga and hiking, new features for runners, WebKit support for viewing web content on the web Apple Watch and interactive notifications.
watchOS 5 is only available to developers and will not be provided for public beta testers. Non-developers will have to wait until the software is officially released in the fall of 2018. The watchOS 5 update runs on all Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3 models from Apple Watch. It is not available for the first generation of the "Series 0" Apple Watch models, including the Golden Apple Watch Edition.
