Paragon Disk Manager now supports High Sierra and APFS
Who updates on the current version of macOS, the will not see a big difference to its predecessor at first glance. Apple switches to the cross-platform file system APFS. Now Apple Watch, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, as well as the Mac are equipped with it. Clear benefits bring the new system in the life of SSDs and the direct encryption of files. One of the drawbacks: third-party vendors must first customize their apps and programs for APFS. Paragon Software has done this now and presents an update of one of its programs.
With the latest version of Disk Administrator, Paragon Software aims to provide an all-in-one solution for all the memory aspects of a Mac. For example, you can create sector-based snapshot backups, clone disks, create rescue disks, redistribute free space to neighboring partitions, and securely erase data. All this is now possible with the new version of the program also under macOS High Sierra 10.13 and the new file system APFS of Apple.
System Requirements and Price
The Disk Manager from Paragon for Mac requires at least macOS 10.7. A 10-day trial version is available on the manufacturer's website. A full version can be purchased for 39.95 euros.
