Philips 7502 (49PUS7502 / 12) – Ultra HD LED TV with Android and Ambilight function [REVIEW]

When it comes to TVs, most people I know often mention Samsung, LG and Sony. There are, however, many other manufacturers that have very attractive models in their portfolio. These include TP Vision, which owns Philips. In this article we analyze the Philips 49PUS7502 / 12 model (I think TV manufacturers need to find more "sexy" names for their products), a smart Ambilight LED TV, Android operating system, a screen with a diagonal of 123 centimeters and resolution Ultra HD

This model was announced in May last year and is part of the manufacturer's 2017 range. Of the televisions presented at the time, Philips 7502 is outdated as performance only by the high-end 9002 OLED. However, the 7502 is the most advanced mid-range TV in the current offer of TP Vision and one of the best on its market segment

When you remove the TV from the box, it immediately draws attention to its small thickness ( 15 mm) at the top, which gives it extra elegance. To the bottom, the maximum thickness reaches 40 mm. The silver edges of the aluminum frame are narrow (10 mm). The built-in (called "Visible Sound") soundbar, 25 mm thick, is positioned on the bottom edge, just below the display. Its grille is made of perforated plastic. The general aspect is minimalist, with few elements that distract attention

The metallic chrome bracket features an interesting feature. The TV can be slightly rotated to the left or right, without the support moving away from the position. This feature is useful to get rid of reflections or to guide your TV so you can see better from where you are. However, the sacrificial function of stability. Pushing a little with your finger at the top, the TV shakes a lot. For those who want to mount the TV on the wall, it has a VESA-compliant (200 x 200 mm) compatible

I appreciated the Philips remote control, which includes what you might want and does not follow the simplification trend of other manufacturers. It comes with Qwerty keyboard on the back and dedicated Netflix button on the front. This is more airy than the previous models from this manufacturer, which allows you to learn to use it faster without ever looking at it, and the way the keys are positioned is intuitive
