Remove Frozen Music Widget from iPhone Lock Screen

The music player is always displayed on the lock screen when playing music on the iPhone or iPad. Once playback is stopped, it actually disappears after a few minutes. However, in some cases, the player may still be displayed on the lock screen. We would therefore like to show you what you can do if the music widget does not disappear.

Note : The music widget is not as easy to control, and it will always be displayed on the lock screen when playing music on the iOS device, regardless of whether or not the music is playing Music App, originated by Spotify or another app.

Music App Close

First, make sure you have paused the music playback and that the W idget can be seen on the lock screen minutes later. If so, then the widget is likely to be frozen. You can counteract this by closing the affected music app. Press the Home button on your iPhone or iPad twice to open the Multitasking view. Now swipe up on the app to close it. On the iPhone X, on the other hand, you swipe from the bottom edge of the screen to the top right. Now tap a finger on an app until red circles appear at the corners of the window. Restarting Helps Real Miracles

If something hangs or does not work properly, then in most cases it will help you to restart. Even if the music widget is not working properly, you should reboot. For all iPhone and iPad models running iOS 11 or later, you can reboot using Settings> General> Turn Off or use one of the familiar shortcuts.

Check if your iOS device is connected to a Bluetooth headset or speaker

If you have the iPhone connected to the handsfree or a Bluetooth headset, it may as well follow come to this “freezing”. To prevent this, you can switch off Bluetooth via the control center and thus disconnect the device.

To reset your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings> General> Reset and select Clear All Content & Settings. Follow the instructions.
