Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Appears for MacOS
Games with a big name for macOS will appear again in 2018. But still Mac gamers need a little more patience than console gamers, for example. Even with Rise of the Tomb Raider were initially only exclusive owners take over an Xbox control of Lara Croft. A year later, the PS4 translation was finished and another year later, the Mac will be on the line. Today, Feral Interactive announced that the anniversary edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will be released in the spring for macOS and Linux.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is already the eleventh title in the series, but only the second after the reboot four years ago. The story is about the first adventures of the still young protagonist Lara Croft and leads the players among other things to Siberia and Syria. In the action adventure with Jump 'n' Run elements, of course, many forgotten graves will be explored and puzzles solved.
The Anniversary Edition includes the main game and all DLCs and bonus items such as outfits. Feral Interactive did not yet name an exact release date and price. The system requirements are still in the dark, but should be announced before the release. The predecessor Tomb Raider is currently available for 32.99 euros in the Mac App Store for download.
