Google has consistently improved the Gboard keyboard that it is currently one of the best options available to smartphone users.
Up to now limited to the Allo application, Smart Replies uses artificial intelligence to analyze the incoming messages by formulating an appropriate response to the context in which we are. For example, when you receive the "where are you" or "what you're doing" message, the application could auto-formulate the answer "on the go" or "I'm fine", leaving only the user to confirm sending it by interacting with the notification message displayed on the screen. When the phone is set to silent mode, or driving a car, the automatic answer may be "sorry, I can not speak now."
Smart Replies can be activated by viewing a notification message that includes the quick response option, providing a convenient alternative to typing the answer manually. At first use, additional permissions are required so that Gboard can respond to our notification messages instead.
As for the list of compatible applications, the Smart Replies feature of the Gboard keyboard will work with Android Messages, Facebook Messenger, Facebook Messenger, Google Allo, Google Hangouts, Snapchat, WhatsApp, and WeChat
Currently at the stage of testing and adjusting AI algorithms for the context of each application, the function will ultimately be available for more than 20 international languages
