The Iron Man worn by American actor Robert Downey Jr. in the first successful franchise movie released in 2008 disappeared from the warehouse where it was stored, police said in Los Angeles, mediafax reported.
The owners of the warehouse located in Pacoima, a suburb of Los Angeles, contacted the police on Tuesday and believe that Tony Stark's armor, the businessman who turns into an iron man, was subdued between February and April 25th.
Police say "unusual" theft is considered a priority, but so far it has no trace.
The costume is valued at $ 325,000.
The first "Iron Man," adapted for Marvel comics, generated $ 585 million in worldwide earnings, and the Avengers Superman, in which Tony Stark is one of the main characters, has earned billions of dollars in the global box office
