Xiaomi announces the full list of devices that will receive update to MIUI 10

Xiaomi smartphone users enjoyed a huge surprise from the smartphone manufacturer last year, as version 9.0 of the MIUI software was launched on 40 devices launched over the past few years. This year, the company announced with Xiaomi Mi 8 that the new MIUI 10, which even if it will not be compatible with as many devices, will be present on the most popular models in the past few years, both in the upper range and in the mid-range.

MIUI 10 promises many new features especially around the camera, as new AI capabilities will ensure the use of portrait mode even on smartphones that feature a single-sensor camera. Xiaomi has also integrated a new way of navigating menus through gestures (similar to those on the iPhone X) as well as other interface-level changes. All of these features will come in 26 models, starting with the newest as Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi MIX 2, Redmi 5, Mi Max 2 as well as older popular models like Redmi Note 4 or Notes 3 and Mi 3.

The update to MIUI 10 will initially launch in beta sometime in June, and the official launch will begin in September
