The Xiaomi Mi 6X comes in a first-hand hands-on with real images, following the same route as the predecessor Mi 5X, taking on the latest iPhone features, tailored to the Xiaomi style of the budget range

Built around a 5.99 "screen with an 18: 9 aspect ratio, the Mi 6X takes up the vertical organization of the dual camera system on the iPhone X, but slightly changes the recipe by replacing the Apple logo with a fingerprint sensor. Keeping the cost of manufacturing at a sustainable level, Xiaomi opts for a family-friendly manufacturing method, delivering the Mi 6X in an unibody design aluminum case, available in black-matt and gold versions

Inside, the Xiaomi Mi 6X features a Surge S2 chipset configuration recently announced by the company. It has an octa-core processor consisting of 4 Cortex-A73 cores at 2.2GHz and another four Cortex-A53 to 1.8GHz. Helped with a GPU of the Mali-G71 MP8 series, the new chip promises a competitive level of performance without competing with the high-end solutions delivered by Samsung and Qualcomm

Like its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi 6X could also have an international version called Mi A2, launched in Android One, and delivered with an Android version lacking the MIUI interface
