Xiaomi Mi A1 was one of the most exciting mid-range models last year being shipped with quality hardware and Android Pure. This model was based on the Mi 5X phone in China, and Mi 6X's launch is now expected with great interest especially by Western brand fans as it could be the basis for an eventual Xiaomi Mi A2. Fortunately, there is not much until we see the new phone as the company has already announced a presentation event.
The release of Xiaomi Mi 6X will take place on April 25 in China, suggesting it will not be available in stores until May. Considering last year's releases, Xiaomi Mi A2 could be announced shortly after this event, with similar hardware and no proprietary MIUI, but with Android's "pure" Android One. That's obvious if Xiaomi and Google will continue to partner for such devices.
We already know what the Xiaomi Mi 6X looks like outside, as it arrived last month in the TENAA approval testing laboratories in China. It is equipped with a 18: 9, bayonet display with a similar camera system to the iPhone X with a rear metal construction and a fingerprint sensor
Inside, the handset will integrate a Snapdragon 626 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage space, 20 megapixel cameras on both sides (with the 8 megapixel back sensor) and a 5.99 " with Full HD + resolution
Probably the price will be the most interesting aspect of this device, last year Mi 5X starting from a price of about 200.
