Xiaomi prepares to launch five smartphones in Europe
China's Xiaomi smartphone maker is gearing up to strengthen its position on Western markets with not less than five new models to be launched in the near future. We're both flagship models and average devices, both in the normal range and the premium range. These were found on the EEC websites (Eurasia Economic Commission), which suggests that their launch in Russia and Europe is imminent
The five models of Xiaomi smartphones listed on the EEC are the Mi Max 3 models, the long awaited Mi A2, the Mi A2 Lite, the Mi 8 flagship and a model that is part of a series that I have never met so far POCOPHONE.
Mi Max 3 is a long-awaited phablet with mid-range premium specifications and a huge display (a 6.9 "panel is expected) with a 5,300 mAh battery and dual camera system with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. About Mi A2 we have talked about in the last few months, this being the "Miy 6X" Android version of Mi 6X launched recently in China
It could come alongside a Mi A2 Lite model, which features similar features to Redmi 6 Pro, launched in India. Mi 8 is the top model from Xiaomi being equipped with the most advanced components on the market, while POCOPHONE is not exactly clear what it is, but we know it has 6 GB RAM and configurations with 64 or 128 GB internal storage
It is not clear when Xiaomi will launch these phones outside of China, but on July 24 the company will launch a launch event in Spain . The company already has several Mi Store stores in this country, and rumors suggest that the event is dedicated to the Mi A2 phone, but maybe we will have some more surprises
