Launched last month in China, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is about to appear outside Asian markets, with the price reserved for European buyers being from a credible source.
According to a known Xiaomi rummy specialist, the Redmi Note 5 European version offers extended support for the 4G LTE bands used on the continent and will be officially announced soon
The Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99 "Full HD screen, a 20MP front camera and a 12MP + 5MP main camera at the back. The all-metal housing holds a 4000 mAh battery, assisted with a fast charging function. The chipset used is the Snapdragon 636, equipped with octa-core CPU at 1.8GHz
Even though it is slightly increased after import duties, the price of Redmi Note 5 remains at a comfortable 230 euros, outlining a very tempting option for European consumers. However, there is also a compromise, the price being valid for the basic equipment model, equipped with 32GB of internal memory and only 3GB of RAM. The jump on the 4GB RAM / 64GB model will cost 270 euros, well above the 175 euro buyer requirement in India
